What about Diabetic Reversal for $39.95

I saw this while surfing. anybody tried that book or it may just be online information.

Hi Suzanne, I am not a book reviewer , however from what I have learned over the years : there is no cure for diabetes ; diabetes can be controlled …type 1 requires " life sustaining" insulin by shots or insulin pump device , proper nutrition . Type 2 maybe controlled by proper nutrition , weight loss , meds such as insulin , same goes for other types : pre-diabetes, gestational, 1.5 , LADA , MODY .
And everyone needs to add exercise to their daily regime .Even people, that do not have diabetes.Exercise and proper nutrition may keep other diseases in check as well ( cancer, heart ) .I would suggest to use that money towards a good pair of walking shoes. Must admit book much cheaper than a good pair of walkers.

I don’t know how long your granddaughter has had diabetes, but many times the newly diagnosed are easy prey for these scam artists. I am always skeptical of anything that uses the words “diabetic reversal”. Stay here with us, Suzanne, and you will learn a lot about diabetes, and how to best manage. I’ve had it for 41 years. How old is your granddaughter?

I do have some beach front property in Arizona to sell you though… if you are so gullable… :o)

It’s a scam… pure and simple… just about all things like that are.

There is no cure or reversal for Type 1 - it’s an autoimmune disease, and once the damage is done, it’s done. Some T2’s can manage their disease with lifestyle changes, but that doesn’t “reverse” or eliminate the underlying disease… a lot of these “reversal” claims pretty much rely on the fact that dietary changes and weight loss can make a big difference for many T2’s.

Sadly, there will always be snake oil salespeople promising “cures” for every disease, whether it’s a diet plan or some secret herb/plant/supplement. Pitiful way to make a living.

Save your money.

I wanted to thank everyone for replying. There should be a law against this type sham. Won’t be buying that beachfront property in Arizona either. My granddaughter is Cesalie Stuehrenberg, age 12 from DFW area. T1 for 18 months and she does not know a single other diabetic child! None in her school. I am so excited she is getting to go to Camp Sweeney June 7. Thanks for answers again. Suzanne

i got a book as gift that told me to be a vegetarian to help my diabetes, the idea is laughable when concerning me. Had some good info in the book, but i kinda need meat…

worse comes to worse you can borrow it from the library or look up reviews on amazon

i KNOW you are writing a book that says bacon and spam can solve diabetes. That’s how you got Hallie Barry to be cured. WHHAHAHA
