That would be so neat Zoe… if we all posted pics of the area where we live!
Yeah I like that idea too. For me, I’ll let somebody else post California pics, I mean it took me over 2 years to finally get my own pic up, and that was only with my nephew’s help!
I’m in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, USA.
I don’t have a good picture to share. Had I read that idea yesterday morning before going to the dentist, I would have taken my camera and tried to get some. Although it is a boring little town, it is a beautiful area – lots of mountains if you like snow! A good one in Flickr came up in Google so I will post the link to that one.

If you are tired of the heat, I have a picture of snow. This was taken on the way out of town and not a good view of the area.
Just north of Chicago in Glenview Ill.
Lovely, Kelly. I really miss snow living in the SF Bay Area and am thinking of moving back to the mountains. Yes, we do have places in California with snow!
Small town called Wicklow which is 30 miles south of Dublin city Ireland
Kelly- That pic of snow looks so inviting, after a summer of 90’s. I am sure we will complain about the cold in Jan. and Feb. as we usually do.
USA…NY (not the City…not even close to the City.)
Finland, Europe
Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. Now living in Berkeley, CA (USA).
In the past 30 days, we’ve received visitors from 168 countries, with the following accounting for more than 90% of the visits:
USA: 70%
Canada: 9%
UK: 6%
Australia: 2%
India: 1.5%
Germany: 1%
Philippines: 0.8%
Ireland: 0.7%
I am learning all kinds of new stuff - CA is the 2nd place this week that I was surprised to learn actually gets snow. I read a non-D blog that the person is in Africa. She posted pics of snow there on her blog this weekend - I never would have thought that it snowed there. It was also funny to think that while we are complaining about the heat, other parts of the world are having their winter season.
I promise you, although I am saying I miss the snow now, I wil be complaining about it in Jan!
Hey thanks for posting this, Manny. Very interesting! I couldn’t even name 168 countries! That is so cool.
Neat Manny! Is there an easy way you can show us the other 160? I’m with Zoe!
OK, I know I said ‘boring’ in my original post, but… I live in a little town in DE, just south of the PA line. When we moved here 20+ years ago it was just turning from farm country to bedroom community. There are still some gorgeous spots, a large nature center, lots of hills and streams.
This is one of the places through which the 141 year old Wilmington-Western RR passes, along the Red Clay Creek.
I live in central Illinois which will soon have the distinction of having our 2 former governors in prison at the same time.
Thought I'd post some pics to add to my original post these are all in the Ozarks of North Central Arkansas USA
