Is every good deed repaid is every bad deed punished one thing I have found in my 63 years is that who ever is in charge Mother Nature,Universe,God,Joe Bloggs next door or someone else or something else you believe in has to balance the scales or chaos rules there are some people who believe in the chaos theory and good luck to them nothing is pre destined one atom can go on to join others and make a cat a tree or even me,just have to be in the right place at the right time,that brings in fate,if we had woken up in the night gone downstairs we could have heard and found the leak in our toilet before it flooded the toilet hallway living room,one thing is for sure I intend inversting in a rubber dingy this week trampling through cold icy water at 7am in your new slippers is not the done thing,I really panicked ran upstairs and woke the wife up, she was startled and I was cream crackered out of breath and no use until I took my angina spray,the friday before Christmas week we were patting ourselves on the back knowing that it had been a struggle but we had finished decorating well the wife did it all I supervised and drove her crackers,telling her she had missed a bit here and there my Angel is usually calm and collected but I guess I can even stir up trouble with an Angel not advised to anyone lstening out there.
The new pills 2 types for gout have really knocked my system about it could be mixing them with 13 other drugs that caused a bad reaction but reaction I had,not nice and do not want it again it seems to have settled down for a while,doctors are so quick at prescribing more drugs I have a coctail of heart failure,prostrate,diabetes and gout pills to take now along with victoza and insulin wish I could find a time machine and go back 40 years boy oh boy would I take more care of my body,but once the water has reached the sea it is lost in the oceans of life,at the moment a big thaw is underway the icicles hanging from our roof/guttering are melting and that is when the real trouble starts with frozen pipes as we found out this morning,I felt like Humprey Bogart SORRY if I spelt it wrong my spell checker is still on the critical list lost without it,it is surprising how many people I have met of my generation who cannot spell.
We have been waiting since 7am this morning for a plumber to arrive still waiting no central heating just an electric fire in the living room,phoned insurance company they gave permission to take up flooded living room carpet and other items soaked such as rugs carpet tiles so here we sit bare floor,no water no central heating life is so good to us some days,as festive seasons go we have had better need to seek a spiraturlist to see if a poltergiest is responsible, so for now from a wet damp living room somewhere in Shropshire,time for insulin really been stressed out for a week now.
For someone who prays for a quiet life mine has been like a roller coaster ride this festive season,Santa I had been GOOD BOY.
