Who’s weird like me?

Just a “fun” post. Anyone weird like me and saving used vials of insulin? I’ve been saving used vials since 2021, organizing them into one ziplock bag for each year, for no real reason, lol.
I would love to see your stashes, if you do it too!

This is for year 2024 - 16 vials of Fiasp. I fluctuate between 17 and 16 vials each year.

Not exactly the same, but my wife is a visual artist using a variety of media, and for a while she was collecting my used Tandem cartridge-fill syringes. She filled them with colored ink and used them for making fine lines, blots and blobs in some of her work.

I love that

That’s great. Not weird at all (at least by my frame of reference).
One year I tossed in a box a year’s worth of (MDI) pen needle discards - not the needles, but the sterile bit you peel off and the outer hard plastic covering.
I had in mind to make an art project out of it, but … you know, so many random ideas, such limited time and space, so they were eventually tossed.
As an aside, it does reinforce what we already know: there is a ton of disposable waste with D management. The CGM lithium batteries particularly grate on me.

I collect empty vials, but I really want to do some art with syringes.

That’s a fun idea. I usually collect random stuff I use, but never thought of vials as a collection lol
