It happens. And that’s not even a bad one. Wait until you get a deep purple and black bruise the size of a half-dollar.

This looks like irritation or sensitivity to the tape rather than a site infection. You could possibly be developing a tape allergy or sensitivity. There may be other tape options. How long was this site in? Do you use anything to prep the skin? Be sure to keep the area clean and dry and watch it for infection but it looks like it will heal quickly. If it happens again…check out other tape options to see if it improves.
