YAY..ish!

I put mine right on the outside of my bicep, at about the level of the line of a t-shirt sleeve (yes, my Dex peeks out from under my t-shirt sleeves, which I wear a lot of -- consider it a removable tattoo!). I go from left to right and back with each different sensor I put on. Works great for me.

Yes my new Endo is great. But yeah you would not believe how many people said I could not get the numbers I was getting unless I had many lows but could they find them some yes but not any lows. I can bethel lay one that has experienced someone saying that.

It’s all good I am now my own expert. Lol

do you use extra tape or something to keep the Dex secure? I have to use Hypafix to keep it in place. especially, if I want to get 10+ days out of it.

i've been wearing since january. my very first sensor went 26 days! haven't had anywhere close to that since. 9 days, 11 days. didn't do anything different. use flexifit tape over the sensor tape but cut a hole in the middle so as not to cover the sensor. i've been wearing it only on my upper stomach/rib cage area. sometimes readings are spot on; other times can be off by 50-60 points!

i like the idea of putting somewhere else other than my stomach, but my thigh is out because my jeans are too tight and would bulge through. my arms are out because i really don't want it in plain sight for everyone and their mother asking me what it is all the time.

wow 26. that's impressive.

My average is 14 days. at the moment, I'm on day 9 for my current one.

Yay! Congratulations! My A1c went from 11 to 7.3 during my first three months using my Dex last year. It is such an invaluable tool in our arsenal against D. I only wear my Dex on the top of my thigh. I get excellent results and I’ve NEVER had someone comment on it or ask me about it, even though it is very noticeable to me through my jeans. I think sometimes we are more conscious of our diabetes paraphernalia than those around us. Most people are too worried about what they look like to be looking too hard at someone else  my stomach was just too sensitive and felt irritated by the Dex each time I tried it there. I am working up the courage to try my arm…it seems like it would hurt.
Keep up the good work…way to go!

WOW! that's a bigger jump than I had. great effort!
