I logged another one today, an hour and a half walk through a local 75 acre botanical garden.
OK, so I got up on the BBT site today to find there were a paultry 1683 tests. I entered 25 of my own personal ones which I had stored on the computer. I have sent an email to my son and his girlfriend - 2 college kids who are constantly biking, dancing, running and told them they could help out and don't even need D to do it. How can you not when a few keystrokes and 2 minutes of your time is worth $5 to people in need ? Where do you get a better return on investment than that ? I emailed my niece who teaches Zumba classes at least 4 nights a week and not only is she going to do it she will spread the word to her classes. So I am now trying to think of other ways to spread the word. I am going to the Joslin clinic on Tuesday and meeting the CDE I would hope that she would know about the BBT,but my guess is she probably won't, but of course I will try and get her involved as well. Anyone else got any ideas to help promote this worthy cause and get more non-D's involved ?
2 today so far, possibility of one more!
i wonder why the count is so low with the time we have to pull this one off... we have more than enough members to pull this off in less than a day(25k+). im not sure how many are active but if everyone at TuDiabetes just took 10-15 mins out of there day that time is including the survey at bigblutest.org we could do it in a day... heck i just totalled a 35ft flatbed tow truck and have put in atleast 3-4 bbt's a day. i mean its for a cause that we all live with either personally or a loved one wether it be family/friend/or significant other...
come on guys/gals lets do this!!!!
Well said David! Don't know how you're doing it in pain, you're a hero.

2166 this am. Managed 3 yesterday, and probably today as well with PT thrown in there.
Beautiful Marie!
Maybe you can test the therapist too! I got another one from yesterday in. I'm taking today off as I haven't had a day off from working out in like 10 days and did two pretty hard workouts yesterday and am feeling it.
Did my first of the day with Cosmo, he really is beginning to realize that the walk is NOT all about him. Yes he still insists on lifting his leg at every opportunity, but at least he is doing it quickly. Went from 239 (WTF) to 154 in 25 minutes.
