Does the Accu-chek Compact Plus come with the Multiclix lancing device that has a preloaded drum, or do you have to put in individual lancets like the old softclix? I could not really tell the answer to this question from the Accu-Check website.
TIA!
If your insurance will pay for the drum it does have a drum.,or if you can pay for them.
Hmmm. I have an Aviva I have used for years. I was trying to get away from fumbling around in the dark with strips. But I don’t understand packaging an “all in one” meter with a drum of strips with a lancing device that does not have an “all in one” drum???
Oh well, thanks for the information.
Hey Mark- I wasn’t familiar with the Accu Check compact so I checked it out on you tube- looks pretty cool. Watching the video on you tube it does show it with a drum that fits in the back and a lancing device that is removable but fits on the side. Kinda loud- but very clever!
I’ve had this meter for 15 months now, I like it. For me the battery lasted a year, but I would guess that it would depend on how many times you check. I check twice a day, sometimes 3 times a day
