It seems the center of my T:Slim screen is a little non-responsive when touching the #2 to unlock. I have to hit it multiple times to get it to work. Also, any button in that same area seems non-responsive.
Anyone else experience this dead area when touching the screen? Should I ask for a replacement? I just got the pump 1 month ago.

Get a replacement. You’ve discovered the downside of any touch screen device it sounds like. If hit too hard it can break down the layers within the screen and result in the device being unable to tell when you’re touching it. I’ve seen it happen on smart phones a lot, and depending on damage done, sometimes a reset is all that’s needed sometimes not.
Definitely call Tandem. They’ll send a replacement!
Touch screen failures are rare, but can happen.(I replace/repair touch screens with my job) Tandem will replace it.
I am curious when you get the new one is there a way to upload your settings to the replacement.
I called Tandem and they are sending a replacement. But they said I cannot download my settings to the new pump. However, I can upload my settings to their software and use that as a guide. Btw the screen did not completely fail. It just takes several tries in the center area. I sleep with it under my pillow but Tandem said that should be okay and is not the cause.
I appreciate the answer. I have received equipment out of the box with dead spots before. I hate that the settings all need to be reentered, bummer. At least the guide will make it less painful.
