Diabetic Bag recommendations for 5 year old girl?

Hello, Everyone~
It’s time to replace Elisabeth’s diabetic bag. Up to now we’ve used an insulated lunch bag that looks like a purse to carry her meter, back-up pump supplies, juice boxes and snacks. Does anyone have any recommendations that’s not too large? She is going to be 5, so I want it to be something she can tote around if need be.
I’ve been looking at Skiddadle and think they have a great product. Anyone have the Hipster bag or the Messenger bag? Would you mind to tell me if you like it and if you think it’s large enough to carry the items I mentioned?

Any other companies you would recommend?
Thanks!
Jessica

We have a skiddadle hipster. The messanger is significantly larger. If you go to my page by clicking on my picture and scroll through my photographs, you’ll see one of my daughter with her bag and a photo of the inside of the bag. Maria, who owns Skiddadle, was super helpful when we first got it. I couldn’t get everything in and sent her a list of what I was trying to stuff in there. She sent me back a “put this here, put that there” list, and it worked just like magic. Don’t know why I couldn’t figure it out for myself, but that’s some great customer service.

When my daughter was in Elementary school, we had a plastic box that we put all her supplies and snacks in. It was kept in the nurses office. That way she didn’t have to worry about pump supplies etc. I did buy her a small purse to carry one snack, her glucagon pen, and her meter in. The pump was put in a Golla pouch that she always wears. They are made for mp3 players, but work great for pumps.

When my daughter was in K, we started using a sling bag. I order them through LL Bean. They are pretty up there in price, but if a juice busts in it, just wash it, super strength bags. Plus if they wear out, LLBean will replace it at no cost.

We just ordered a skidaddle messanger for my 7yo, and are planning to order a hipster for my 9yo. i will let you know what we think of the messenger when we get. i am also interested in any other options. with 2 T1 girls we need options!
