Diabetic hack -- cherry ice cream

I made this today...it is delicious and unbelievable tasting for a low carb ice cream. The texture was great like real ice cream. As well as a fun science experiment! I'm gonna be experimenting now...

ZIPLOC ICE CREAM -- CHERRY FLAVORED

3.3 CHO

recipe (tweaked from a recipe I got off a forum):

10 drops liquid sucralose
1/4 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

1/4 teaspoon Imitation Cherry Extract

1/2 cup Heavy Cream

6 tablespoons Table Salt

3 cups Ice

1 Sandwich Sized Ziploc Bag

1 Gallon Sized Ziploc Bag

Put the cream, sweetener, and extracts in a small ziplock bag. Put the ice and salt in a big ziploc bag. Put the small bag inside the big bag and zip it up. Shake the bag around for 5-10 min until it becomes ice cream at your desired consistency. You might want to wear gloves when shaking as it got very cold for me. Pull out small bag and rinse the salt off the outside of the bag with water. Serve!

I AM EXCITED ABOUT THIS! Blood sugars like it too.

Also made low carb chocolate out of coconut oil, cocoa powder, and cream via a recipe from diabetes-book.com forum. Pretty good and easy!
