I rarely carry anything which identifies me as diabetic. Some of my coworkers know but I don’t usually say too much. When I am out bicycling, walking or traveling alone I do wear a medic alert necklace with my name, diabetes, meds and if found call my husband and his cell phone number. www.roadid.com makes some slick looking id’s for atheletes, not specifically for medical issues. Probably a good idea for anyone who runs, bicycles or just gets out there without id.
nose peircing LOL no haha I dont thing so…
Is that your real tatto in your pictures? Whos are the henna tats?
Sweet, when did you pick those up?
Is a shame they did not make colored ones… The white when wet seems a bit ummm form fitting… u did say you had bathing suit underneath though.
Medic alert bracelet - I have allergies as well.
I LOVE my Road ID! The reflective tape is a bonus as well. I store it on my work out bag handle when I am not wearing it - works as bag ID that way too!
I don’t have anything at the moment, don’t like jewellery much, most people in my village know me so they know I am D. I do carry ID in my bag though. I left it behind in a shop once and they knew it was mine because of the glucometer, this obviously would be of no good in a town or city.

you know, a bunch of people are getting the tattos that are the medical symbol with diabetic under it.
EMS say that if you get one it will need to be on ur wrist or 2 inches below you elbow…
If you wait a little bit longer they are coming out with nano ink that changes color if you blood glucose is too low or high… it should come out soon since they have been testing it since last year i believe…
and that would we great for diabetics as an indicator of diabetes and your blood glucose!
I don’t have one yet, but I’ll be getting a dog tag ID this weekend
