Dr. was very Happy, and seemed almost proud!

I had an appointment yesterday and I brought my last blood work with me (from the time I was on the CGM for 44 days) - some may recall I dropped into the 5.x range for the 1st time in over 20 years and he was literally blown away. I then showed him my 90 day AGP report which puts me at a 5.3 and he was almost shocked. Weight loss, lower A1C, and generally feeling GREAT compared to where I was when I “thought” i knew my S*&t about managing this disease. I now know that I did not know crap - and I have eaten a huge piece of humble pie.

I cannot stress this enough - if you are on Insulin - do whatever you can to get on a CGM, get a good CDE and put the work in - it pays off even after just a few short months.

Good job.

Great job and great doctor!

And yes, a good CDE and a CGM are two of the most important 'C’s in successful diabetes management – the theird is that YOU have to be the CEO of your healthcare!

Great job!
Amazing how much of a difference we can make if we can SEE what our BG is doing!
