Existing customers with new pods?

I am seeing some comments from what looks like existing customers with new pods, we almost got them yesterday, but the reorder dept checked with supervisor and she said she would send them next week? any existing customers recieve new pods yet?

I got my new pods 3 weeks ago, but I go through MEDCO/Express scripts. Waiting on PDM now

My understanding is that they will contact you before sending the new pods. I could be wrong on that though. Expect a Fall time frame.

I think it will be different for people that get both parts directly through Insulet...

Thankfully..My problem will be solved soon...its going to be sweet the next time i start a thread... especially for those that have grown to hate me..hahahaha

They have your name on a list, then are checking it twice, determining if you have been naughty or nice............

Haha well..funny you should mention said "list". I asked the other day where on the list I am, and the lady insisted there is NO LIST? Hmm...guess they are picking names out of a hat to decide who's worthy....

I got new pods and PDM about four weeks ago through Edgepark. My warranty had expired by about a year on the old PDM.

We are getting them next week also. However, I think it's because my actual official "reorder date" was a long time ago - and we have so many stockpiled (we were told the new pod was "coming soon" almost four years ago) that I was able to not order. So I think that put us very close to the top of the nonexistent list, since they believe me when I tell them I hardly have any left.

My warranty expired just before they began the existing user transition, so I called a distributor and ordered one. It's shipping out overnight and UPS is delivering in the afternoon--I'm very excited. Now I'll be able to use the 30 2nd gen pods medco sent me 5 weeks ago. :)

If you are out of warranty, there is no reason to wait for Insulet if you want to order up a new PDM. That decision is up to you or your insurance company (if you don't want to pay 100% out of pocket). Good luck.

Nice...Hoping to join the NEW POD club next week. New PDM is supposed to be sent out monday from Insulet...but we shall see.

I even asked if I can pay to get it UPS or Fed Ex and they said NO haha

Yeah its been crazy...but hopefully its over with and I wont have to make any more of those calls to insulet. It has sucked looking at 4 boxes of new pods just begging to be used...haha

My reorder of the "Current pods" [they don't like the term 'old pods'] came in about one week ago, which was actually about a week or more early. I called them to say I wish I'd known as I might have liked to go to 30-days restocks in case transition starts soon. The Reply: "Transitions won't start until late summer so having just got a full reorder won't delay you."

Now they seem to have just begun. Clearly they weren't being honest with me. I've been in the 'patience is good' camp but this still offends me a bit.

I sort of wanted the new smaller pods for my vacation, but if the transition comes with difficulties (as it seems to have for some) I'd hate for that to happen while I'm away. See -- that's how I bury my anger every time. Swallowing your anger is good for your health, isn't it??

Nope..sitting on things is a bad thing. Im convinced the ONLY reason they are sending mine, is due to taking it to the top of the insulet management. One person says no, so I asked for their boss, etc, til I reached pretty high.

Hang I. There Colin and enjoy your vacation, new pods will be there for you soon when you get back! We will work the kinks out for you!!

I received my shipment notification email from Insulet yesterday; arrived home and the box was already there. I almost put it away without opening as I fully expected it to be the old pods. Wrong! I have the new PDM and pods, but had not been contacted by Insulet. I will be wading through all the info they sent me, but will wait for a weekend change-out so I can be at home if I have any issues.

Interesting...yet another hiccup in their awesome process...

Thankfully we wont have to do this again for another 8 yrs when they get a new one out :)
