Flax Crackers (gluten free)

2 cups ground golden flax seeds
3 tbsp whole flax seeds (or sesame seeds)
1/2 cup grated cheddar or parmesan cheese
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp sea salt

1 Lg egg
2 tbsp coconut oil or extra light olive oil, melted
1/2 cup water
1 tsp coarse salt

Preheat oven to 325 F

In Lg bowl, combine ground flax, whole flax (or sesame seeds), cheese, onion powder, and 1/2 tsp sea salt

In medium bowl, whisk together the egg, oil, and water. Pour into flax mixture and mix.

Split mixture into two.
Roll both (with rolling pin) between 2 sheets of parchment paper (1/8" thickness)

*Remove top layer of parchment paper. Sprinkle with course sea salt or desired spices. Bake for 25 min


Although it is not clear I presume you bake it on the one piece of parchment.
