How did the platform migration go for you? Feedback, please!

Hi all,

Our friends from Columbia University are conducting a new study and we would like to help them! As you all know, TuDiabetes recently transitioned to a new platform. As it turned out, this was a challenging and trying process for many of us.

While we believe this was an important part of our growth as a community, we also know that not everything went as smoothly as we hoped and that our members have mixed feelings about this experience. The research team at Columbia would like to help us better understand the perceptions and attitudes about this transition within the community. This knowledge could help us to be better prepared to any changes in the future. It may help other communities that consider adopting new technological platforms, or making significant changes to their design to be better prepared for what they may expect.

If you are interested in participating, you will be asked to take part in a one-hour interview conducted either over the phone or over Skype. You will be reimbursed $20 in amazon.com gift certificate.

If you are interested in taking part in the study, please contact Lena Mamykina, Ph.D. (Assistant Professor, Columbia University): lena.mamykina@dbmi.columbia.edu
