Hey All, its been so long since ive been on this site. ive been missing it. i just recently got some internet back.
Well, I'm here in DESPERATE need of help. Most of the insulin and supplies I got were from my brother. he had a webpage on facebook for those w/o insurance and in need of supplies. to donate. My dilema is the page was closed down about a month ago. and I'm so dangerously low on supplies. Would anyone have any Novolog, Lantus, or Syringes to spare? I'm severely in need. I'm down to my last Novolog pen, and its about half full.
Does anyone have anything to spare? even expired insulins? its definately better than none at all :(
I really hate having to come back to this webpage after so long, just to come beg for supplies. but I really dont know where else to go. I really REALLY hope to hear back from anyone :) please send me a message

Pharmaceutical companies offer a Patient Assistance Program for people who can't afford meds. You'll need to a complete a form on their site.
Wal Mart sells a meter with inexpensive strips.
Most states don't require an Rx for syringes & it's up to the discretion of the pharmasist to sell a limited number (usually a package of 10) with an ID. Syringes are cheap--$.10 each.
That's odd I live in California and I can buy insulin and test strips and syringes with no prescription. I had to do it a couple of times when my insurance lapsed due to change of employment once, And change of insurance companies another time. Has something changed?
Of course it is crazy expensive to buy a bottle of insulin this way, but I thought it was legal.
I thought there was a place here on this site to donate pump supplies.
There is also a program in California , I see you are in Sacramento, You can get insurance a a pretty good rate through PCIP.
Prexisting Condition insurance Policy. You need to be uninsured for 6 months to qualify, Thats's all. They will cover all the diabetic stuff. It is only around 250/month. Maybe less for you , you look a bit younger than me.
