I just home from the doctors. My A1c is 5.4. I started my Omnipod on 10/30. My A1c on the 27th of Oct. was 6.7. Also my cholesterol was down. I was afraid that I would not see any improvement since it covered halloween, birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. We also went on a 14 day trip to Disney World. Thank you Omnipod.

Ooh, that’s AWESOME news! I, too, just started the omnipod, and have gotten a great A1c. My last A1c (in october) was 7.2 (down from a 15.9 when I was diagnosed in August). I started the omnipod in early December. A week ago, my new A1c was 5.6. I think it’s awesome that you got an A1c like that… especially during all that vacationing and holidays! congrats!
