Hello, I am looking for a diabetic athlete group I can train with for cycling, running, swimming. I am returning to the world of triathlons after my diagnosis 4 years ago but need to learn how to do it with diabetes.
Any suggestions ?

Anita..you can touch base with Anne Findlay, of triabetes.org group...i trained with her for the 2009 Ironman Az, with 12 other triabetes members..http://annetics.blogspot.com/
I think Anne is also on this website..she lives in the SF area, and hopefully she knows some diabetic peeps
several folks in the bay area from the insulindependence/triabetes group, and at least one from Team WILD - most I think are north of the city - happy to recommend some friends via Facebook

They are both very nice people whom I met through insulindependence. Anne has also been cycling for Team Type 1.
