New A1C numbers

I was diagnosed with T2 in late January after being sick and dying the entire month of December and first part of January. I decided to go to the doctor since I have been paying for health coverage for all these years might as well get some use out of it. I had a fasting blood sugar of just over 400 and was told I had diabetes. I went in for a follow up the next day and to get a whole list of tests and shots. A few days later I got some interesting news… A1C was 11.1 Cholesterol was over 700 triglyceride was over 3000. It wasn’t looking good. I made some major changes and figured I had to get something’s under control or be in for some bad times. I just got my new results showing I have made some progress but still have some stuff to work on. New A1C is 6.9 Cholesterol is just over 100 and triglyceride is still over 500 but down from 3k. I have to keep working on it to try and get under 6 and going to work on getting the triglycerides down for the next tests.

That is GREAT progress! Obviously you don’t want to stop there, but you’ve done fantastic work so far. Congrats!

Wonderful! All your hard work is paying off. Lowering BG definitely helps lipid profiles.

HOLY COW!!! That is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo terrific. Good for you, Jeremy. YOU DID IT!!

The less carbs you do, the more your #s will come down.

Dear Jeremy.

Great job. A low carb diet will make history out of the high trigycerides. Even helps cholesterol. Hard to believe but true.

Thanks everyone.
