New Pods?

Stop not all bad news. I used 3.5 boxes now and had only one failure (occlusion) wich is not per def. a pod failure. But it is replaced by Ypsomed. I am very happy with the new 2nd gen pods. No problems.

I'm sure there's a learning curve for the new pods, just like there was for the old ones.

Unfortunately, they are obviously not. Ypsomed , the European distributor, confirmed me that as far as the occlusion issue is concerned they are working on it. It indeed seems to be a sensitivity problem. But, as you, I am slightly diappointed in the new pods.

Ypsomed confirmed to me that my 80% failure rate was due to a "technical issue". They are aware and working on it. But the problems can't be ignored.

We Europeans are on the bleeding edge. I sincerely hope the problems will be resolved when you receive the first shipments in the USA.

We owe the Europeans a debt of gratitude for being "on the bleeding edge." And since we Canadians are behind the Americans, perhaps all the bugs will be worked out by the time we get our new smaller pods in several months.
