Hi Nel:
Sometimes the weathermen/women are incorrect, as you know. I do hope that it doesn’t rain on the 3rd. That sounds dangerous. Or do they cancel? I believe that you mentioned a while ago that you’ve raised $40,000. so far? That’s Amazing and Excellent work that you are doing. If it is not too late to sponser you, I’d be honoured. Either way, I wish you all the Best in accomplishing a sussessful Marathon. Good Luck!!
Denise thanks for your support for an exiting event …probably about 18 thousand participanrts ??
Terrie8…thanks for your offer to sponser and after I get back from Vancouver will give you the scoop on how to …
It’s actually quite nice to be out with a bit of rainfall …I recall my Disney World , Jan . 2008 event : humidity of 100 percent , close to 80 degrees …that was a challenge
Till next week all !
Wow, You are AMAZING!
You go girl! Good guys, such as you, always win even when they don’t finish first. You are wished sunny blue skies on May 3. Thanks for running for others who have diabetes while raising money.

Hello all ,
Back home and in GOOD form …your well wishes paid off …amazing how powerful inspiring thoughts are . Thank You All .
I beat my expected time by just under 1 1/2 minutes .The chip time clocked me in at 1.09.38 . wearing a CGMS helped me and did chew on several glucose pills . The weather out of this world …nice clean , sunny skies , with a breeze ,after a downpour on Sat. evening .
Did have a low BG on Sat. eve., followed by a rebound , followed by a shot by needle …did not sleep well . However the andrenolin was flowing on Sunday morning . Met up with some Team D members I had met on my travels …a bit of a reunion and met new members as well , who I hope will be inspired to continue for their health and all living with diabetes .
My next one : 1/2 marathon in Victoria, BC, Canada on October 11. For this event I will have to train !
