OneTouch Data Software and Windows 7

Does anyone have any information on when we might be able to use the data software with Windows 7? Anyone maybe had more luck with contacting them than I have? I have emailed twice and just got back the generic, "its not available for Windows 7, we apologize for any inconvenience" message.

No information, but I thank you for bringing this to my attention! I was considering purchasing the software but I run Windows 7. Now I know to wait!

I will be sure to update if I hear something else from them! I’ve been waiting!! lol

Just ordered a new desk top with Win7 and was wondering about this.
Now I know.

Will put the software on the kids puter until They get the windows 7 version out.

I would also like to know, I have an Ultra Smart, and can not use the software :frowning:

I saw this problem somewhere else and the solution was to change the properties of the Win7 folder to emulate a WIN-XP environment. I do not remember how to do it but emulation was the trick.

Sorta been waiting for this for awhile… approved windows 7 is supposedly soon to be released… but its in the FDAs hands… least according to the rep I talked to… though you can get the old software to work on a 32bit version of Windows 7, notsomuch a 64bit (the norm these days)…Can always try using a virtual machine if you have windows 7 professional or higher…
(can do it with Virtualbox on other versions of windows but then you have to have a copy of windows XP or vista to run in it)

I have the One Touch Ultrasmart, and use it with the program on Windows 7 professional and have had no problems, I’ve had the program since I got the computer in the summer of 2010.
