Would anybody happen to know where I can look to find and buy a onetouch ultra link meter? I will be getting my pump in a few weeks and I really don’t like to use bayer products and prefer onetouch meters. Thanks in advance
I emailed them about a week ago because my insurance don’t cover the bayer test strips and asked them about getting the ultra link meter and they are not offering the one touch meters any longer. bayer and minimed prolly got their fingers in each others pocket

Brooks, you probably should have your doctor write a letter to the insurance company asking them to allow you to get the test strips. It is worth a try. It seems funny that they would fund a pump but not the strips. Is you medical and prescriptions separate? Mine is. I called Medco and they said I could get the test strips at no cost to me even though it is listed as a non-preferred drug.

I had the almost the same problem...my insurance company covered the ontouch test strips and not the bayer. My doctor wrote a letter, it went to review and took a few months but I now get the bayer. I just used the one touch and put in the results by hand while I waited.
tried this also and they do not have the links in production any longer and what they have on stock is to replace ones that people already have :(
