Missy is awake for the moment but they have called in the neurosurgeon and they will be doing another operation tonight. Kit’s with the family so one of our own is on the scene in realtime.
It will be another 6 hours for the surgery. And now we take in a deep breath and hold it . . . hold it . . . .

Pete the family are all on edge and Missy is not liking the fact that she has to have another surgery. Our poor Missy is hanging in there.

WTF? How could that doctor have gotten a job at that hospital if he had his license revoked elsewhere? Didn’t the hosptial on check up on that - unbelievable! A crooked doctor can get a job but I can’t!
So, this was other meds that that evil dr. had given her to stop the seizures?
I hope it is just the swelling and it will heal and she will recover!

I know… I wanted to get a job detassling corn this Summer, but noooooo… I had to do a background check, and credit check… and meanwhile, to be a doctor, apparently nobody cares what you’ve done with your life. criminally, or negligently… lol

sorry I missed the latest news here yesterday. I am joining the family here as we gather together, arm in arm, to pray for our Missy and John. Lord, Hear our prayer.
Missy got out of surgery at 4:20 a.m. The last I heard from John she was still out. Lita says that they were able to remove all of the tumor. They said that the last time so, really, that’s not as comforting as it should be.
John asked me how to hook up her Dexcom. I sent him instructions. I also sent a text but I’m not sure anyone is in charge of Missy’s phone at the moment. I dropped off after 12:30 am or so, 2:30 Missy time. Once I reestablish communication with the Missy’s family, I will post what I get.
Have I mentioned how really great and wonderful this community is?
Hoping for Missy that indeed that was the last of the tumor. And that she will be healthy and can stay out of hospitals for a long while after this!

The last time we had this focus and virtual “prayer circle” Miss Missy opened her eyes days earlier than the neurologist said she would. Y’all gotta be doing something right.
