I know when I was researching the omnipod I wondered where I would wear mine and how would it look. My favorite place is the back of the arm. This one has hit the muscle and is hurting. It may have to come off early.

I would say my favorite spot would be my thigh. I don’t have any pic’s but I’ll find one…lol
i love my arm and lower back. i haven’t used my stomach since like 2 months after i started podding =)
i don’t have a pic of it on my lower back…but here it is on my arm =]
Interesting design on the pod, sugarrbabie. R u an artist?

Cherise, don’t worry about the location of the pod. Just put on your “Daisy Duke’s” and take a pickure.
Robin, for those of us who are technically challenged, how do you post a picture without it being a ‘huge’ picture? I just recently inherited a beautiful digital camera which seems to be really complicated, but I am slowly learning how to operate it.

Take a picture and stor it in a folder on your computer. Make sure you put it in a [lace where you can find it again. reply to a post and there are icon as you type over the window. The last one on your right is add a picture, Click it and browse for the picture on your computer. Find it and add it. Now making it smaller…I’ll have to admit that I am not sure how to make it smaller. I tried to make this smaller and did not succeed.
Using my arm right now…

I would love to wear it on my arm more often. However, it seems to be a problem area for me. Anyone else find that BG’s are higher when wearing it on the back of your arm? My favorite place is on my right side - directly on my side. (above jean waistline)
Ok, so I tried the arm again… This morning I put it on the very back of my right arm. My BG’s have all been awesome today. Forget my earlier post. I really love wearing it on my right arm and right side.
Pictures poeple
I want pictures. People researching the pod always want to see pictures. When I watched all the videos on the Omnipod webpage I only think I saw one pod. I wanted to see how big it was.
hey robin and mike, i noticed that your pods on your arm are placed with the window facing up. mine’s facing down. is there a “proper” way to do it?
btw, mine’s on my arm right now but i rotate arms and lower back.
Faye, I don’t think there is a “up” or “down” to the pod. When I wear them on my thigh, I alternate between window-up and window-down. I can’t tell any difference. I think it’s important to alternate because you don’t want the actual insertion points to build up scar tissue.
yeah, i rotate sideways and up/down, plus i’ll look for the old marks and avoid them. i was wondering if putting it window up would make the insulin flow go against gravity!
i can’t draw at all! it’s a sticker on the pod, easiet to design something for me =)
Me too! Either side above my jean line is most “convenient” for me and it’s less obvious. I’m not thick at all and my arm does not have enough “cushion” for it to be on there. I also wear it on my stomach above my jean line. Where do you wear it aside from the back? I need suggestions, please help!
I think the window purpose is so you can see the insertion and make sure its all good. but if your comfortable with it however then go for it. If I put it somewhere I cant see I just ask my boyfriend to look at it.
