@askmanny just retweeted an alert from the Endocrine Society of a voluntary recall of some boxes of pods. read about it here
I read about this recall as well; there are over 40,000 boxes of 10 each pods involved, over 400,000 units. I’m surprised there’s not more activity in this thread.
We all should have gotten a letter with the lot numbers of the “bad” boxes. I have already checked my supply, and they are fine. I hope that everyone who was shipped pods during the time these were manufactured gets the notice. Perhaps that is why you have not gotten more replies to your post. People who are affected have taken care of the problem following Insulet’s instructions. Thanks for posting the notice anyway for those who did not pay attention to their mail.
