I’m using G6 with my Tslim. I plan to upgrade pump software to 7.8 which I believe I must do if I want to start using the G7.
I’m just curious. Once I do this and begin using G7s, could I revert to a G6? Offhand I can’t think of why I’d want to, but like I said, I’m just curious if the software would allow that.
Yes, all of the material from Tandem says that you can convert back.
Once you upgrade your pump software, there will be an option to “change sensor type” - so you can choose either G6 or G7.
I just updated my software but have not started using the G7 yet.
My mobi lets me switch at every sensor change. I’m on g7, but I think the G6 is better. More reliable and it didn’t lose connection as much. Hope they can improve the G7 because the transmitter thing is nice to be done with
