Try this. This old-school jpg should work.

Yes, i heard the same thing. They said its still being approved. He told me it would be half the size and thinner.
Thank you for posting the jpg file. There isn’t a whole lot about Diabetes that is exciting, but a new slimmer pod is a very good thing.
I Have not started on the Podd yet ( 15 days to go!!) But the rep I dealt with said the new model podd is approximately 47% (I see someone else stated 42%) smaller…think is has to do with using batteries. Either way it going to be a win as from what she told me it’s going to be thinner and lighter so it should stay on better and be more comfortable. I was told it’s coming in 2010 also but she would not say a date and did say that usually takes longer than what they say so she thought by end of summer or by end of 2010…Let’s hope!!
Here is link for a presentation to institutional investors held eariler in the month. The slides include a picture of the new pod. Insulet states that it will be 1/3 smaller and that they hope to have FDA approval toward the end of the year. http://investors.insulet.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=209336&p=irol-presentations. You will have to register to view the presentation but that is a simple and free process for those interested.
I spoke to a rep here in Georgia and he said that they are still looking for FDA approval. I received my dummy one and it seems big. My daughter is the one it is for and she is REALLY small, only 45 lbs and 6 years old. I put it on her and it looks really unconfortable. If anyone has little ones that this works on, please let me know and where the best spots are for sites.
I was told that the Dexcom CGM integration with the current (2nd generation PDM) is awaiting approval and should be out prior to end of this year. After that the smaller pod (which is also awaiting FDA approval) will be released hopefully in the first half of 2011. So some nice improvements are coming!

Insulet reported earnings yesterday and had their quarterly conference call. A replay of the call is on the Insulet website under Investor Relations. They reported that they have a meeting with the FDA near the end of this quarter to discuss the new pod. If the meeting goes well, they plan to file for approval shortly thereafter.
