I hate defeat. I can understand knowing when to quit, but I hate doing it. Today's victory goes to the monster that is type 1 diabetes. After having my blood glucose level drop into the 20's last night, and again at work this morning I am drained. I made it through the first half an hour of Karate and could not continue. It was a long, busy day at work and I am running on about 3 hours of sleep thanks to my hypo episode last night. So today, much to my chagrin I hang my head and admit defeat. One battle, not the war, but it's still a bitter pill to swallow.
I so understand
I hate it when I get sucker punched by diabetes. Diabetes seems not to fight fair. Regroup and have a better tomorrow.
I know how you feel, so frustrating. Keep going.
Some days your the windshield and some days your the bug. I really sucks being the bug. I hope your tomorrow is better and like you said, it's just one lost battle in a life time of battles. Thank Goodness we win more than we lose.
