My daughter is using Orbit Micros, which brag that they adhere better and better with heat. Well, since we live in Texas and it’s summer, they adhere like a second skin, are a terror to peel off, and leave a ring of residue. I bet there’s some product on the market that would help with this, but I don’t know what it is. Thanks.
I agree with the Unisolve. Sometimes a warm bath with baby oil in the bathwater or warm compress with baby oil. After a while, when they get older, they just rip it off (makes me cringe but that is what she does…quickly).
Remove wipes, medical adherent remover wipes especially made for removing infusion sets, ostomy appliance and other medical sticky stuffs without peeling the skin off or leaving a ton of glue on the skin.
It’s btw the same company doing the Remove wipes as the IV prep wipes.
Thanks! Are y’all using the wipes or the little bottle of fluid?
Uni-solve works great with no skin irritation for me. They come in wipes, more expensive, and also about an 8oz bottle. I get the bottle, use cotton swabs to apply to skin - you need very little. Magic!
