Stomach flu

I’m home sick with a stomach flu today. At midnight last night I felt stomach pain and went to the bathroom. I felt like I was going to pass out so I tested at 89. Figured I was ok and just getting sick and I got in the hall and passed out. Shortly after I was 57 and dropping and could not get my bg back up. Now I’m full blown sick and blood is at 253 and I’m giving trouble dropping it. I’m wondering if anyone has logic on why I passed out.

I haven't had the flu in years, but I do remember keeping regular ginger ale around for when you can't keep anything down. ginger also helps with nausea. here's some posts on the flu
