Highest I tested myself at has been 257. I know that I tested in the Dr.s office at something like 335 and according to my Dr. had been running closer to 400 (A1C initially of 12.7). Lowest I have ever tested has been 68.
Highest⦠HI on my meter which I believe is over 500, highest recorded was around 487
Lowest was LO on my meter which might be below 20? I was almost unconscious and EMT had to come. I got a 27 on my Freestyle Lite a couple weeks ago.
highest: āHIā (>600)
lowest: āLOā (<20)
neither felt great
453, 23
Out of all the years:
My highest was over 1200mg/dL(at least 68.33333mmol/L)ā¦that was a 3 day Coma at age 19.
My lowest I guess was -0.00?? From a severe Insulin over-dose by a Nurse while I was in Hospital, causing my heart to stop at age 31.
Highest: definitely 290 (possibly there were others higher many years ago but I canāt recall exactly). The high I remember was this past year when my insulin pen did not fire properly and I ate a big slab of sourdough bread.
Lowest: 59. I have a fierce counterregulatory response that makes it almost impossible for me to achieve even normal numbers half the time and pushes me up to 110-ish any time I drop into the 70s. This represents progress It used to kick in when I got to the 80s.
I think we found our āwinner,ā so to speak. laughs Needless to say, weāre all glad you made it through and are here with us today. I didnāt know 0 was possible.
Hi Melissa: Thank you for your kind words.
Yes, a person can hit 0 but Iām not saying that they will be alive. My heart had stopped after all. I read the Nurseās log and I seriously donāt know what that Girl was thinking.
It was 7 a.m. in the morning. I was unconscious since my sugar was low(she thought I was just asleep). She had tested my sugar level(I was out so I didnāt know that 'til after I read her log book days later). I was 1.5 and she still gave me my Insulin shots. Go figure!
It sure makes me wonder how many times this has happened to other Diabetics around the world.
highest: HI
lowest:19 on my old meter, LO (under 20) on my new meter
itās interesting though that when I needed glucagon my bloodsugar was only in the 30ās (I was sleeping and my parents couldnāt wake me up), whereas my lowest numbers I was always able to treat by myself.
Highest: post diagnosis 440-something (when I was diagnosed they used a OneTouch Ultra that kept beeping HI when it tested me)
Lowest: 20 (this was scary - I woke up in the middle of the night feeling low and had to double-check that the meter was really telling me I was in the 20s. Ate many jelly beans and eventually calmed down.)
Highest: 500+ after a baseball game in August (my insulin turned into very expensive water while out in the sun
My highest was 700 at diagnosis.
Lowest was Low
Highest: 385 Lowest: 62
I did hit 655 when I was diagnosed
Lowest: 2.4 (43.2)
Highest: 28 (504)
Highest 420, Lowest 60, Biggest jump in one day - 62 - 375 - 67
Highest - 539 at diagnosis
Lowest - 57 or thereabouts.
