highest: 457
lowest¨: 40 (but it felt like a horrible high!)
Who has a meter that reads over 1000?? I was off the meter at Children's here in Seattle which goes to 1000 at diagnosis. Can't say I've ever been at 17. Sounds terrifying!
Hmmm. This is only approximate . . . somewhere around 40 to somewhere in the high 300s.
I was 363 when I was diagnosed. I had to urinate all the time and the doctor said I was diabetic.
48 was one of my lowest. Very unpleasant with shakes and sweating and tremendous thirst and massive hunger. I did eat a banana, then had a glass of milk, then something else. Then some insulin to cool off those numbers.
When I go low, I bounce up and then need to ride it carefully up and down until my glucose numbers are finally calmed.
Highest (at diagnosis): 1036 Treated with MDI (Novolog and Levemir)
Highest since diagnosis: 641
Lowest: 35
For some reason, I don’t have symptoms when really high, but I do have symptoms when low.
T1. 572 (dka), 28 (seizures)
I have had type was for 23 years. Besides when i was diagnosed (BS was 1150! They said i should not have been conscious.), highest recorded is just HIGH, which I think means over 600? Anyway its bad. Lowest is around 43, BUT I did pass out for my first time this past year when I was adjusting to being on the pump. I was fortunate, i was right next to my bed when it started crashing and somehow i knew it was a bad one, I quickly crawled across my bed and opened my glucose tabs and then…passed out in them. I am very grateful nothing like this has ever happened to me before. I am also grateful I was not driving or out in public somehow. Instead, I just remember eventually sorta being in this pink cloud. I felt great, everything was great, just perfect. I remember thinking, oh I could stay here forever. …wait…where is “here”?..wait, was I suppose to be doing something?..etc etc…it seemed like it took a long time to remember what was going on. I woke up soooooo gradual and eventually found myself in my glucose tabs and got one in my mouth finally, and it continued to be gradual, i was in fact pretty tired and low key for awhile after it happened. It was also in the evening already so the whole incident just wiped me out for the night. My dog and at least 2 of my cats were also on the bed and as far as I can tell, they didn’t notice anything was wrong with me at all!!
meter stops at 650 and says call Dr…lol my record low is 23
I got a 1.7 once when I was pregnant and the worst part was I was driving on a motorway, I had tested 15 mins before and I was fine. I only pulled in because my son was crying and decided to test again before i continued my journey. This scared me so much and led me to get a cgm. I hate to think what could have happened that day. I was lucky to regain my hypo awareness after pregnancy otherwise I couldn’t in all consciousness continue driving. I have had seizures when teenager and so probably have been even lower than that. I was 44 mmol when diagnosed I think, it’s 30 years ago but that number sticks in my head.
Highest: 400 something. Two months after diagnosis, thought I knew a lot more than I really did, still thought I was Type 2. Had been going crazy hard on low carb/diet/exercise with great results, thought I’d be fine celebrating my birthday. Oh god no. No no no. I learned a lot from that experience.
Lowest: 59. I’m still in my honeymoon phase with minimal insulin. It’ll go lower soon enough…
Highest - 1003 when undergoing chemotherapy (and no ketones - bizarre).
Lowest - 21, woke up in ambulance.
at home my highest was “over 33.3 - high” (over 599) and my lowest at home was 1.7 (30.6 mg/dl). In hospital my lowest was 1.1 (I had a seizure) and my highest in hospital was 41.3. Good times
Lowest
15 I think, was years, and years ago.

HI
Hello All!
My highest at diagnosis was 587, since then my highest is 496. My lowest where I was still standing and somewhat cognizant is 29. Hit 14 once and got a great ride from a nice paramedic…not that I remember…
Hope everyone has a great day!
High of 1208, after they were able to finally get a measurement in emerg. They were quite surprised I was able to drive there and walk in.
Low of 29. I keep a can of Mountain Dew beside my bed now…
