Amen. I had terrible service from them when they were transitioning to G6, having supply issues, and moving their CS operations to Manilla.

If anyone has the option, consider getting your Dexcom supples through your Pharmacy benefits. I started that last year and it’s worked perfectly. No delays, errors, etc. Orders are delivered from my pharmacy flawlessly on time, every time.

Whatever you do don’t go to Edgepark lol.

Can you order tandem supplies through your pharmacy yet?

Good question. Not that I’m aware of, but I’ve never looked into it. I’m happy with my current supplier so not much of a motive.

I don’t currently use Solara for my Dexcom supplies but I did for a few years ending in January 2019. I found their service timely and dependable. Each transaction involved a 20% payment from me and that was handled well.

I don’t doubt the reports of some distributors giving poor service to some Medicare beneficiaries and others. I’m not fond of my unpaid diabetes supply logistics manager role and sympathize with those caught up in a dysfunctional situation. We should be able to send them a bill for our time!

If you are on Medicare, Dexcom is not available through pharmacy benefits. Plus pharmacy stuff is much more expensive for most (all?) Medicare people compared to DME. I have no out of pocket cost for Dexcom because it is DME. Medicare pays 80% and my supplement plan pays 20%.

For what its worth. I just got my Medicare Libre from Wellstart Medical. They’re a relatively new company but I spoke with a rep named Brandon who was great and got my supplies the next day. Night and day from CCS…

I won’t be on medicare until later this spring but I have been using Solara as my Dexcom supplier for a number of years now and have found them to be very good. I can reach them when I need to, the orders arrive quickly and on time and I have never had any problems. I don’t know if this will change after I am on Medicare or not, but Solara was the supplier dictated to me by my insurance and so far, I have had no complaints.
