Wondering what’s been going on in the advocacy world since COVID? Hoping to hear health experts weigh in with more perspective on diabetes during the pandemic? Curious to hear from the Congressional Diabetes Caucus?
Don’t forget to register to learn all this and more on Thursday!
DPAC is excited to co-host our first-ever virtual Congressional briefing, open to the public. In addition to diabetes health experts, you’ll also get to hear from our Congressional Diabetes Caucus Chairs, Rep. Tom Reed (R-NY23) and Rep. Diana DeGette (D-CO1).
Registration is quick and easy! Link: https://diabetesandthecovidthreat.splashthat.com/
The event theme is COVID-19 and its impact on the diabetes community, the gaps in access it has exposed, and policy recommendations moving forward. The call will include a Q&A, and you can submit questions in advance.
It’s another way we’re working to continue the conversation and help keep diabetes at the forefront for policymakers, we’d love to see you there! If you can’t make it then, stay tuned as there will be other virtual opportunities this year.
The Diabetes Patient Advocacy Coalition social media pages have all the info so you can easily share this event with friends and family! Find it on our Twitter or Facebook. Hope to see you on Thursday!
