Want to join the migration helper team?

Hey all,

When our new site launches, on April 20th, I'm going to create a forum discussion where people can post any questions/problems with the site in the thread. I'd like to create a team of people who are somewhat tech savvy - or at least comfortable trying to figure out new platforms - and willing to follow that thread and answer questions, offer words of encouragement to folks who find the change confusing, etc. There would be no particular time commitment. Just enough time to check that discussion regularly and chime in as you can, or play with the site to figure things out and then help others with it.

Please let me know if you would like to be on that team! And thanks in advance for your dedication to our great community :)

I might be able to help. )). Semi tech savy, really good at listening and responding.
If you need it.

I will be happy to help, do you know what platform or Content Management System (CMS) will the new site be running on? I work in an internet production company where I provide support as a project manager and perform quality assurance testing. Let me know..

Check out www.discourse.org. And if you haven't already, you could also take a look at Migration update: IMPORTANT DATES and the other migration posts in the TuDiabetes News discussion section.

I am willing to help during thew migration!

I'm not sure if you could actually classify me as "tech savvy" but I'm willing to help in whatever way I can.

I’m a professional librarian and somewhat “techy” and I like puzzles…so I’ll try to help.

I played around in the Discourse Sandbox, it looks pretty user friendly so think I may be able to help if you need me to.

HUGE thanks to those of you who have already volunteered to help out! Your dedication to the community is incredibly appreciated. I'm keeping a list of volunteers for this, and will be sure you all get the URL of the post, once it's up, so you can follow it and jump in :)
