I got my pump in January and I named her Fifi. At that time, in the newspapers, was same older guy who had an artificial heart and his daughter named it Fifi, and I thought something like: He has “his” heart outside the body so do I have a pancreas outside my body; based on that I named my pump like he his heart-Fifi.

I used to find it hard to talk about my Pump to my boyfriend (as of the 14th i’ve been with for 14 months) So in order to make it easier on me he decided to call it BOB!
It is a love-hate relationship with Bob, But I know he’s trying to keep me alive

I usually don’t refer to it like this, but secretly my pump is called Neela. I’ve been told that as a kid (so young I don’t remember) I used to have a piece of fur on a string, which was my “dog” and it was called Neela.
I call mine Pumper!
