Wher did you get your childs Medical alert bracelet or necklace?

Hi im shopping for Hunters medical alert necklace or bracelet. any ideas? what does your childs look like??

I got my sons here http://www.n-styleid.com/childrens_medical_alert_bracelets.htm these have held up pretty well, I just had “type 1 diabetes” engraved on it. He has the spiderweb bracelet and the skull and crossbones one.

we got ours through medicalert. my son is 5 and he has one of the kids sports bands.
there’s a new program in canada where kids can get free bracelets and services through the schools. i don’t know if they have it where you are though. you could try the 1-800 number to find out.

We got ours at Fifty/50. http://www.fifty50pharmacy.com/index.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=KidsCorner
we got the neophrene sports type.

I like fifty50 pharmacy online. They are inexpensive and to the point. plus comfortable for Alyssa.

I got my daughter’s from www.stickyj.com. They have a huge variety/many styles and the engraving is cheap!

This website offers a pretty good list of resources.

Here is a picture of what my daughters looks like from www.stickyj.com

We got my daughter’s at Lauren’s Hope as well. It’s dainty - it’s pink - and it has beads. What more could a girl ask for?! She loves it and wears it with pride.

With Ocean’s we origanally oredered from (http://www.laurenshope.com/) But know I have ordered another medical alert tag and just made my own beaded braclet that attaches too it to make them different. For A boy I would just order one from one of the websites unless you could find some cool beads that he would like.

I tried lots and lots of medic alert bracelets but these work best for my daughter. She has several different colors and wears one of them all the time without a fuss. I keep an eye on the website and buy the new colors when they come out. They hold up great and are inexpensive.

Medical bracelets for children that are cool and comfortable at www.auctions.artfulneedle.com.

got a bunch of personalized engraved silcone ones from “familystorefront” on ebay. they don’t always have a specific listing, but they are very responsive when you contact them. i was able to incorporate my son’s peanut allergy too and he was able to pick his favorite colors.

I found a site that has silicone bracelets that my daughter loves. The are like the bracelets that all the kids are wearing. www.coolmedid.com

I went to a local engravers & key cutters shop. He had some blank pendants with the alert symol on the front. I gave him the information to engrave in the back. We got a spare too. I attached the pendant to a brightly coloured shoe lace that we tie. The colour is changed regularly. This is a much cheaper method. And the variety helps my dd accept it.

Kacey’s nurse just bought her one that looks identical to the pic that Ronda posted. I LOVE IT! It’s cute and it fits her comfortably. There is no clasp thingy…just a lock tight clip and its waterproof too. Also…on the back of the metal alert that has DIABETES (See back for info) it says Call Mom and then my cell number. Its about the size of a watch so its not bulky either. You can also order more bands for it so you can swap them out to match what you’re wearing.

I got it from Keeps Me Safe. She loved the designs and the web is also in Spanish, my mother tongue. Here it is www.keepsmesafe.com
