Of course everyone voted for Manny because he’s a cutie-pie. I cast my official vote for Rickena because she made the pretty flowery case I carry the @#$%^&* meter stuff in.
I want to add to my vote. This community as a whole deserves a vote. This is a place where I could come when my doctor first said the word ‘diabetes’ and ask all the questions I had, get good answers, make friends, get support, and get the sympathy I really needed.

I nominate my son, Jeff, and daughter-in-law, Gloria, for the time, devotion, and love they give to their diabetic son, Aaron. Aaron a diagnosed diabetic since the age of two years, now eight years of age. They give him as normal a life as possible and because of this he is a wonderful lovable child. Jeff and Gloria Feuer deserve to be honored for their fight against the terrible illness of diabetes. Thank you

Doris Ann - I always crack up reading her stuff! She always makes everyone smile!
Jeff - we agree about the whole awareness thing in that there is a HUGE lack of it
Sheldon…if you are not diabetic and are on this site because of your precious grandson, you are pretty wonderful as well. I know your family appreciates your support.
I am very grateful for Manny starting tudiabetes and all the members who make up this community. We are all truly a family and I thank all of you for being here to listen, to give advice, to give support, to laugh with, to learn from. Some of you I would like to highlight.
Kerri Monroe – I found tudiabetes through you. You give me hope for my own daughter. You are a role model. I hope my own daughter, Olivia, also lives each day to the fullest and treats diabetes as a part of her, but doesn’t let it “define her”.
Robert – For being completely honest about this disease and continuing to move forward despite the complications. (and he loves NASCAR!
